Itinerary
1 Arrival in Tbilisi.
2Our tour for the day will starts with Mtskheta - a museum city included in the UNESCO world heritage. On the way we will also visit Jvari Monastery and Svetitskhoveli Cathedral. End of the day, we'll return to Tbilisi.
3 Visit the birthplace of wine & wine making - Kakheti. On the way to Sighnaghi, we will also visit many beautiful shrines and monasteries like Bodbe Nunnery. The city offers an exceptional view of the Alazani Valley.
4Start our excursion to see the real Caucasus, high mountains and all the beauty of Georgian nature. Upon arrival in Kazbegiclimb to , Gergeti Church (2200 m) at the foot of Mount Kazbek (5033 m), which is a place of pilgrimage. Also experience marvellous panorama of the Kazbek peak, the resort and the mountains.
5Continue our journey to the ancient cave city of Uplistsikhe carved in the rock and visit the Stalin Museum. Visit Borjomi, the most famous balneological resort in Georgia. It is the source of Borjomi mineral water, the famous sodium bicarbonate water, which has medicinal properties.
6Your Batumi adventure starts with a stroll through the charming Seaside Park and historic Old Town. Admire the unique architecture adorned with mythical creatures. Continue along the scenic seaside boulevard, taking in sights like the Batumi Sea Port, Piazza, St. Nicholas Church, and the dramatic Ali and Nino moving statue.
7,8Kutaisi, Georgia's second-largest city, awaits! Explore its historical heart, including the UNESCO-listed Gelati Monastery and Bagrati Cathedral. Witness natural wonders at Prometheus Cave, famed for its dazzling stalactites. Enjoy a traditional lunch at a Georgian family's home before your airport transfer.
