The route is tough with rocky terrain and dense forests, but the views are worth the hard work
Green Lake trek, also known as the Khangchendzonga base camp trek, is a picturesque trail that passes through extraordinary landscapes in the heart of the Himalayas. There's dense Rhododendrons forests, alpine meadows, endless glaciers, and an incomparable view of the Himalayan peaks awaiting travellers on this trail. This trek culminates at the base of the Khangchendzonga, also known as the holiest peak in Sikkim and regarded as the region’s shield. Once a celebrated path of the Pre-war Everest expeditions, today this trail stands largely unexplored and ready for discovery.
