Witness the rare Himalayan Brown Bears in Drass in Western Ladhakh, the second coldest inhabited place in the world. Arguably the best location in India for sighting Drenmo (local name), this rare & magnificent mammal of the Himalayas, along with Tibetan Wolf, Red Fox, Long Tail Marmot, Asiatic Ibex, and other fauna, calls this region its home. This region is also a haven for birding with ample opportunities to sight warblers, finches, and raptors on offer.
Please Note: This expedition can be enjoyed by beginners too.
1Arrive at Srinagar and drive to Drass.
2-4Early start to the day with a hike up to reach the adjacent hillside for bear spotting. Drive to other adjacent valleys from the base valley.
5Depart from Srinagar to our respective destinations
