Books & Games
Step into our sunlit dining space for a fresh, organic, and purely vegetarian breakfast made of local produce. As you enjoy your morning meal, soak in Kumaoni vistas from your table. After breakfast you can enjoy a friendly match of Ludo, Monopoly, or Scrabble. Or, you can head outside for some crisp mountain air or a game of badminton on our court - perched high up at an altitude of 7,600 feet.
With over 60 kilometers of densely forested trails, walking is the best way to experience the natural beauty of the sanctuary. From the simple Ghoralkot Hike, to the challenging Mayolikhan Hike, every trail promises an adventure. Even shorter exploratory strolls offer beautiful views and local flora, especially enjoyed during the tranquil early morning hours or at sundown.
Unwind at the end of the day under a starry night and by the bonfire. There are many books to choose from if you're looking for a good read, or if you're still feeling energetic, a game of table-tennis on our hand-painted outdoor table would be just right. Or, if you wish to simply make the most of company, we're sure there will be much to discuss after a day of exploration!
