Gear up to test your mountain driving skills with an exhilarating self-drive Himalayan safari that will take you through paths you never even imagined! Over the course of a week, drive through some of the most remote and pristine regions of the North-Western Indian Himalayas while experiencing immersive camps and relaxing picnics on the way. We'll negotiate tough roads like the Sach Pass, and with like-minded riders by our side, take on this challenge and come home triumphant.
Please Note: If you have some experience of high-altitude mountain driving, then this expedition is recommended for you.
1Arrive at Srinagar. Take the day to rest and acclimatise.
2Local sightseeing at Srinagar and drive to Yusmarg - an off-beat pristine destination.
3Drive from Srinagar to Kishtwar and finally to Gulabgarh—the land of sapphire, saffron and shrines.
4Enjoy the most demanding drive of the journey from Gulabgarh and head to Himachal. Overnight stay in a mobile camp at Sural Battori (Pangi Valley, Chamba).
5Explore the majestic views of Sural Battori with local walks.
6Drive from Sural Battori to Dalhousie via Sach—the final high mountain pass of this journey.
7Dalhousie to your respective destination.
