Possibly one of the most scenic treks in the country

The Great Lakes trail is a recent discovery for trekkers as it has remained out of bounds only till last 10 odd years. This week long alpine journey takes one through some of the most breakthtaking high altitude lakes Kashmir has to offer with magnificient views of snow capped mountains and ridge lines. While majority of the trek is moderate, it involves crossing a few high passes and some rocky sections. All in all a must-do trek for every avid trekker out there.

Please Note: One must be fit enough to cross high altitude passes.
