An experience of two different worlds at once
Connecting Kullu Valley to Pin Valley, this challenging yet exhilarating Trans-Himalayan trek over the Pin Parvati Pass boasts of contrasting landscapes. On on end, we’ll find yourself walking through the abundant biodiversity of Parvati Valley, and on the other, we'll encounter the cold and dry mountain desert region of Spiti. We'll be crossing boulder bridges on the way to Odi Thatch and navigating the marshlands of Manatalai all while walking through glacial traverses and soaking in spectacular views of distinct landscapes on either side.
Please Note: This trek is not recommended for first-time trekkers.
1Arrive in Kullu. Rest and enjoy local sightseeing.
2Drive to Barsheni and trek to the hot springs of Kheerganga.
3Trek from Kheerganga and catch a glimpse of foamy waterfalls near your campsite at Tunda Bhuj.
4Trek from Tunda Bhuj navigating a few tricky river crossings to reach the campsite at Thakur Kuan.
5Trek from Thakur Kuan along the Parvati river to reach Odi Thatch.
6Trek from Odi Thatch to Manatalai.
7Trek from Manatalai Lake, cross a rocky steep ridge, and reach Kullu Base Camp at the edge of Parvati Glacier.
8Trek from Kullu Base Camp to the Pin Parvati Pass and head towards the Pin Base Camp crossing ice, snow, scree, and streams.
9Trek from Pin Base Camp to the final campsite at Wichkurung Thach.
10Trek from Wichkurung Thach to Mudh followed by a drive to your comfortable stay.
11Enjoy a full day of rest.
12Drive from Chicham to your charming stay.
13Leave Manali to depart for your respective destinations.
